A 100% refund or a place on the next scheduled Cambridge English course will be given if the British Council has to cancel or postpone an examination for any reason.

If a candidate gives written notice of withdrawal before the final registration date of the exam, as published by the British Council, they will receive a full refund, less an administrative fee of 20% of the total fees paid.

If a candidate gives notice less than one full week before the scheduled date of the exam, no refund will be given.

An exception to this rule is a withdrawal or absence on medical grounds. In such a case, the candidate will need to produce a medical certificate and will be eligible for a refund less a 20% administrative fee.

Please note that fees cannot be transferred to a later exam period, or from one level of exam to another.
